These long triangle earrings feature a textured line pattern in black and white. The pattern comes from a photo of an Ahinahina or Silversword plant found on a trip to Maui during a hike on the volcano Haleakala. The plant is one of the only plants that grows in such a desolate setting and it’s silver color and texture were quite striking.

These earrings begin as copper that is electro-etched from a photo, creating texture in the copper. The shape for this necklace is hand-cut and then enameled in black powdered glass enamel and kiln-fired. It is then enameled another time with white enamel in the recesses. Finished with black enamel on the reverse and finished with sterling silver ear wires.
