These fun modern enamel earrings feature a zigzag line pattern with a sprinkling of teal. They were made using the sgraffito technique, where the line pattern was scratched through to expose the enamel below.

The design for these earrings was sketched out and then the shapes were hand-cut out of copper. Then the first layer of dark gray enamel is applied and kiln fired. Next a layer of liquid white enamel and teal powdered enamel is applied to the surface, then the lined pattern was scratched out exposing the gray enamel beneath. Then they were kiln-fired another time at a toasty 1500°. The backs are enameled in dark gray. They are completed with sterling silver ear wires.
