These earrings were made as part of a creative challenge to make a new piece of jewelry everyday for 100 days. These were made on day 12 of the challenge. In making these enamel earrings I explored using crackle enamels and the sgraffito technique. I first drew and then hand-cut the irregular geometric shape out of copper sheet metal. I then drew the lines pattern on the surface, scratching through a layer of white crackle enamel to reveal the teal enamel below. These earrings are perfect for springtime. The backs are finished with the same design. They are completed with sterling silver ear wires.
