These dangle enamel earrings feature a linear star pattern in black and white. The pattern comes from a photo I took in Vancouver, Canada of a glass ceiling at conservatory in a botanical garden. I loved the patterns of the window frames and the positive and negative space created by the frames.

These earrings begin as copper that is electro-etched from a photo, creating texture in the copper. The shape for these earrings is hand-cut from that enamel and then enameled in black powdered glass enamel and kiln-fired. It is then enameled another time with white enamel in the recesses. Finished with black enamel on the reverse and sterling silver ear wires.
